·        Environmental chemistry is a branch of chemistry that is concerned with the study of the chemical processes that occur in the environment, including the fate and transport of pollutants, the chemistry of the atmosphere, and the chemistry of aquatic systems. Environmental chemists play a critical role in understanding and addressing environmental issues such as air and water pollution, climate change, and the impact of human activities on the natural world.
